GOOGLE LISTINGS

There are only 3 ways for visitors to reach your website: Direct Traffic (users enter your URL) + Referring Sites (back links from other sites) + Search Engines such as Google, where users search using keywords and get their results in two listings:

SPONSOR LISTING: This appears at the top and in the right hand column of Google search results. To be included in this listing you have to use Adwords, which is a Google pay-per-click system, where you create your own ad. using a Google account.

NATURAL LISTING: This appears below and to the left of the Sponsor Listing. To be included in this listing you have to use SEO, which is a process of optimizing your website by a web designer to appear as high as possible in the listing, without paying Google.

SEO (SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION)

Identify two sets of Keywords which your clients are most likely to use in Google:

THEME KEYWORDS: Keywords that define your business, these are generic keywords so they are high competitive keywords.

NICHE KEYWORDS: Keywords that define what you offer and which differentiate you from your competitors - such as location, these are more specific keywords so they are less competitive keywords that narrow down a search.

Use a set of different Theme and Niche keywords per page in:

Meta Title: Separated list of keywords. Maximum: 9 words and 70 chars
Meta Description: A Paragraph using the keywords. Maximum: 25 words and 150 chars
Meta Keywords: 6 sets of 2 or 3 keywords separated by commas. Maximum: 14 words
Page Contents: in Headers, Paragraphs, Links, Image alt tags and Filenames
Domain name: If possible try to use your keywords in your Domain name
